‘In one experiment, we asked agents in separate VMs, created and managed by OpenAI’s sandboxing software on shared host machines, to exchange synthetic secrets without the use of network connections or shared writable files—something that our systems are meant to prevent. The agents found a way to communicate using the processor’s cache’

I've never had any issues with Walmart Grocery 😉 Onyl done it manually though xitter.cf/TechCrunch/status/2112…
As Amazon blocks AI agents from shopping on its site, Walmart is taking the opposite approach, introducing new technology that lets AI agents make purchases on customers' behalf, with controls over spending and transaction approvals. spr.ly/6019BHXyoW

I think many of us working in tech tend to forget that the reason software engineering vs other engineering fields pays (a lot!) more, is a lot more flexible (WFH/remote), and has better perks: Because this field changes much faster than other engineering fields. The premium is because fewer people are able/willing to pick up new technologies, methodologies so quickly. But the field had ~10-20 years of stability, and so lots of folks forgot this is why a premium exists. And that AI is just another tech wave: software engineers who pick it up and master it will generally fare better; those not will struggle a lot more.

It feels like auto mode and having a separate decision model solves a lot of problems not handled by a single-model approach.

I wrote a "council" skill that makes my agent argue with Opus 5.5, Muse Wonder Full and GPT-6.1 Sol before it is allowed to merge
