There's something so beautifully poetic about finding someone as doomed as you are and finding the hope in each other— and spending forever proving that light exists to each other.
We literally should just keep bullying the government.
It just keeps on working.
JUST IN: The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has suspended the mandatory display of the BIR registration seal badge until further notice.
Under Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 113-2026, taxpayers who have already obtained the seal badge may continue to display it on their online platforms at their discretion.
No penalties will be imposed solely for failure to display the seal badge during the suspension period.

There is more going on than simply what is happening to the characters within the story... you are communicating something to the audience.
Now, you are of the preference that lovers shouldn't harm each other, especially physically.
Whereas I am of the opinion that... the kinds of harm we do to each other in the real world needs an example of forgiveness within media.
Transforming sorrow and pain into forgiveness in order to overcome those things and bolster love within the story necessitates SHOWING the suffering, which necessitates making people FEEL angst, suffering and sorrow... as well as it's resolution, which is necessary for the transformative healing process.
This is how stories shape people. We've had decades of stories telling people "Nope, if someone harms you, throw them away they aren't worth your time or effort."
And that is why we have the world we have today; because we turned out backs on redemptive love stories...
And here you are advocating for the story to be less redemptive... because SectumSempra offends your sensibilities.
The Passion of the Christ was filmed to offend sensibilities in order to convey the suffering Christ went through for the people of the world. To show his pain and suffering, in order to demonstrate his LOVE of the people of the world.
But you can't bear the thought of Harry harming the woman he loves in a moment of conflict and passion with a weapon he didn't fully understand.
Essentially communicating to the world the same message we've had for decades.
A love that survives sectumsempra through forgiveness is more appealing and hopeful.
A love that endures despite the scars and despite the pain is better than a love untested.
If we have a #Malfoid schism over this, I know what side I'm takin'.

There is a subsection of people who have a visceral reaction to violence as it regards female characters. Granted, this is natural, it SHOULD be the case.
But they are letting their impulse control get the better of them in insisting that SectumSempra shouldn't be included in a Malfoid fic. I understand the impulse to sanitize it, to remove the ugly bits in a relationship AND that these people have a hard time of understanding how a person can come to love a person who intentionally or otherwise sliced them up.
But that's just the thing, isn't it? Your impulse might be to never forgive such a person... and certainly never to end up loving them. You see the violence standing alone and apart from everything else that happens... OR... you believe that this one act of violence committed by Harry should be unforgiveable by Malfoid.
For those of you who are Christians, I think you need a think about what it is you're saying about forgiveness. Realize that none of us are *WORTH* forgiving for any of a number of reasons... we are all of us DAMNED because of our fallen nature. We don't deserve redemption or forgiveness.
That is why being granted Forgiveness is an echo of the divine. It is a stepping aside from holding onto hatred, suffering and pain and learning to let go of the wrongs and trespasses someone has committed against us. Forgiveness is a method of healing.
If that were not enough... SectumSempra should be the absolute kickstart of the darkest time of Malfoid's life, a metaphorical and literal severing of her time of innocence as she is thrust into the dark of the underworld. Does it hurt worse to know that Potter didn't mean to hurt her but did?
I can't say as I profess to the position of sanitizing or altering the Sectum Sempra scene to make it so she isn't hurt. What follows after doesn't land as well if not for that terrible night in the Bathroom.

he was in the trenches, fighting fox news for mass effect back in the 2000s, and in this house Geoff Keighley is a hero, end of story

Geoff Keighley, hold your head up high.
You fought for Bioware's right to make hot aliens sex each other up from the start.
It's not fair to you that they failed and made everything cornball sludge.
