He listed manga artists by their home prefectures so we can show off where we’re from! 🗾
My hometown is home to Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball), Kohei Horikoshi (My Hero Academia), Akira Amano (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!), and Yoshio Sawai (Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo)! 😲
There was a hugely popular horse racing drama in Japan last year, and its theme song goes way too well with Uma Musume! 🏃🏻♀️🏇
Wait, Bird Studio is being demolished?! If that’s true, that’s really sad. It was near my hometown, and every time I passed by, it always made me excited. 😢

Lmao, Killingham’s over there yapping, and Sanji’s just blazing it. This dude is too damn cool!!!! 🔥🚬

Some prefer the old Chopper, but making him ONE PIECE’s mascot was a brilliant move by Oda. With Pikachu’s voice actress Ikue Otani voicing him, it was only natural. Even little kids who haven’t read ONE PIECE know him! 🫎🍭

RIP 🕊️😔
SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

After making history with The Idolmaster, Cygames came up with the wild idea of turning horse racing into a competition between cute girls. And by using the names of real racehorses, they managed to bring horse racing fans into the mix too. That’s pretty brilliant. 🏃🏻♀️🏇
No matter how unlucky a day gets, at least I’ll get to read ONE PIECE next Monday…! Hang in there, everyone!

Today’s the release day for the ONE PIECE Ichiban Kuji, but every convenience store near me is already sold out, so I’m trying my luck online! My target is the “Liar Noland” book! 🔥

Hmm, yeah, the fact that Oda chose to call it that instead of using “Kingdom” makes me think he had something specific in mind. 🤔
As for its absence from the Reverie, I’m sure it’s because it was erased from the map.

Why, Oda… Kuma has done so much for the Straw Hats, and his daughter Bonney has the talent to lead the next generation… So why can’t she be the “11th Straw Hat”? 🥺🍕
