Today’s vibes. 63mm in the gauge here. 273mm so far in Sept/Oct. Only 1952, 1928 & 1907 have been wetter since 1900 (Grove research station). Probably had enough now. #huonvalley #pinotnoir #chardonnay #damp instagram.com/p/CVmnsGdvhom/…

Open this weekend Sat and Sun from 11-4! We can talk clones, climate and colour in Pinot. Might even taste something... #huonvalley #easter #pinotnoir #chardonnay instagram.com/p/CNLyr2zj2oc/…
Tasmanian Pinot that shows no indication of caring whether anyone would consider it Burgundian. 13.4% alc., so it’s not a light wine, but the steeliness and fruit have found a lovely equilibrium. I hadn’t had it since a tasting in Adelaide years ago, and it stands up to memory.

Anyone know what kind of bird laid this?! Found it at the vineyard next to the gate. No chooks at ours and slightly bigger than a large chook egg. There was a wedgie in the tree nearby...?! #huonvalley instagram.com/p/CLxpHElDjr0/…
