Marco Palestra changes everything when he’s back + firing with Moises caicedo. You don’t have to worry about subpar wingback play when he is basically our Bradley Barcola that should defend. A tactical Swiss Army knife and the 🔑in an Alonso system. With the iteration of the squad now Alex Scott WILL provide the same value Palestra provides on the flanks. I’ve thought about it and

, a conundrum as that’s why Lavia + Moi can never work in an Alonso system and why Lavia will always be a sub CM now. We need movers, we have them outwide already and at FB, once you get Scott + another mover then the light at the end of the tunnel is very bright.

You get Rogers central in game for 10 mins and you see how good he is and how dynamic his mind is. Yes he can do it from wide but till we get Scott / FDJ ( dynamic Tempo Mezzala that can carry ) it’s better for team dynamics he plays central and palmer dictates from the right

Centre not for keeping the ball mate. We need more threat down the flanks from both sides like all top teams. Rogers moment of brilliance and the ( again ) threat of pace from Hato is what gave us the goal.

I’m a believer in the fact we need to play Rogers #10 / SS, Neto on the LHS & Palmer on the Right. Yes we might suffer with wingers ( not really even ) but I’d rather lose the ball outwide than centrally. And the dynamic makes us x10 better in attack. Rogers a second striker

that can receive any ball because he’s so strong and has top tech to go with it. Palmer on the Right would have been perfect with someone more dynamic than Hendo ( Scott ) but we can still use it now. Acheampong will provide the runs and Neto LHS with Hato is a speedster combo

Alonso needs to see and come to conclusion with. Go all in on your cards, it’s the best dynamic for us moving forward.
