All textiles release "fragmeneted fibres" which in case of synthetic textiles can be called microplastics. We aim to engineer new textile structure to STOP FF.

All textiles release fibre fragments (microplastics). At @UniversityLeeds, we (@AVPalaciosMarin, @abduljabbarte, @taucif ) created bespoke polyester and cotton textiles from three yarn structures and quantified shed fragmented fibres & length distribution.journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.….
