To be fair I would argue to be lit up like a xmas tree at night as you won’t be seen otherwise, but during the day high-viz for pedestrians & cyclists is pointless. They get hit by cars not because they can't be seen but because of how streets are designed and how drivers behave

Ireland’s share of pedestrian fatalities is nearly double the European average, making Ireland among the continent’s worst for pedestrian safety...Yet the 30km/h debate still revolves around how motorists will cope 🙄 @PatKennyNT @mcculld

Remember - the wildfires, the droughts, floods, heatwaves happening across the world are within "safe" climate change (1.2°C warming). We are on course to double that.

The murder of Charlie Kirk is part of a disturbing rise in political violence that threatens to hollow out our public life.
A free society relies on the premise that people can speak out without fear or humiliation.
No more political violence.

#NationalSiblingsDay Let's celebrate the Ogg family! Few can match the sheer size of Nanny Ogg's brood, with 15 children. Imagine those family gatherings!
From Jason to Shawn, and everyone in between, the Ogg #siblings showcase that family comes in all shapes and sizes. While some might find managing such a large family chaotic, Nanny Ogg handles it with her characteristic wit, wisdom and perhaps a drop or two of scumble! 🍎
