A plaque has been installed outside of the trainer’s room in our clubhouse, honoring longtime #Orioles Head Athletic Trainer Richie Bancells. Bancells retired last year after 41 years in the organization. We’ll welcome him later today to throw the ceremonial 1st pitch. #Birdland

The Orioles have named Brian Ebel as the club's Head Athletic Trainer. Ebel has spent the last 21 seasons as the Assistant Athletic Trainer. The 2018 season will mark Ebel’s 34th year with the Orioles organization. He is just the fourth Head Athletic Trainer in Orioles history.
