British soldiers can now keep full Rastafarian dreadlocks and beards — as long as they’re tidy and don’t interfere with kit or safety.
The same army that once enforced strict uniformity now accommodates religious hair and facial hair. But does this strengthen the force, or does it mark another step away from the standards that once defined it?

You can’t spend years eroding the country — mass uncontrolled immigration, two-tier justice, prosecuting veterans, telling people they can’t have a national identity or fly their own flag — then demand young men go and die for it when the Defence Secretary suddenly notices the world is dangerous after spaffing our money on everything but defence.
You can’t ask men who aren’t allowed to feel pride in their country to die under its flag.
Give people a country worth defending again, or stop being surprised when they say no.
