My TVT worked for incontinence perfectly! However now I can’t walk without severe pain. No other health issues, I was the “perfect candidate” for the mesh surgery. Did it make me dry? Yes. But now I am crippled with excruciating pain instead. Don’t be fooled!
According to you, me, and the many hundreds of mesh-injured women and men in the Swedish mesh group, as well as the many thousands around the world.
But the Swedish mesh surgeons continue their campaign of lies and gaslighting.
Oh no, plenty of mesh implanted, still going on all over the country. But no patients have ever experienced any mesh-related trouble. Ever, ever, ever.
Perfect mesh, perfect surgeons, perfect patients, perfect outcome. Perfect Sweden.

I'll never forget when I mentioned the UK mesh sling ban to one of the top (male) gynae consultants in Sweden.
'Ah, yes, the UK. Quacks aplenty over there. But you see, in Sweden, we actually know what we're doing!'

I will never place another strand of mesh in my career having seen the complications coming to our centre. If I’m anything I am anti-mesh.

MP Julian Lewis asks what checks were made on the mesh specialist centres before they were allowed to open. Are they the same surgeons who denied #mesh was a problem who are now supposedly the experts in removal? @EmmaHardyMP @SharonHodgsonMP

this BSUG survey👇 is desperate and counter-productive.
it alienates patients and undermines the Cumberlege Review.
procedures were suspended because of patients - and cannot be reinstated unless patients’ trust is restored. @RCObsGyn @APPGFDNH
