Andor's exploration of communication and the visual/narrative motif of listening really kicks into high gear in the prison arc. I think it's one of the most fascinating themes of the series, especially when S2 goes even deeper into it and fully introduces the propaganda angle.
It feels like Robert Emms has gone a bit underappreciated in this scene. Skarsgård's brilliant monologue is obviously the focus, but I think Emms as Lonni is sooo good here too. The scene wouldn't hit nearly as hard without his reaction shots
I love how the prison arc highlights it isn't just Cassian who's imprisoned by the Imperial system, but everyone. The visual motif of characters behind bars continues throughout the rest of the show too.
If this is cheap and hollow to you and the AI slop isn't, I don't know what to tell you
This is a complete reversal of how media used to work. The multi-million dollar studio shows feel cheap and hollow, while independent creators using AI tools are the ones treating the story like actual science fiction. youtube.com/@starwarslostleg…

The games have been my favorite corner of Star Wars for years now, and it's great to see Galactic Racer and Zero Company receive such (well-deserved!) praise. Now we just complete the hat trick with Jedi 3 🎉
Replying to @animated_jen
star wars is slowly but gradually coming back with galactic racer and zero company AND they learnt how to count to 3 with battlefront so we'll get jedi 3 soon ✌️
