SeaWorld Orlando recently announced the passing of Kaboodle, a 23-year-old walrus and the oldest female walrus in a U.S. facility. She died during a medical procedure related to a chronic gastrointestinal condition. Born in 2003, she was recognized for her long, crossed tusks and served as a successful surrogate mother to rescued calves, including Uki.

NEW: U.S. theme park attendance was largely steady in 2025, according to the TEA Global Experience Index. Disney’s six U.S. parks were flat compared to 2024, while Epic drew 4 million visits in its partial first year and helped lift combined Universal Orlando attendance.

Meet Annautaq! This orphaned walrus calf made the journey to SeaWorld Orlando after receiving exceptional care at the Alaska SeaLife Center. Thanks to the teamwork of many, including our friends at MCO, Annautaq is settling into his new home and receiving lots of love!

Permits for a new restaurant @SeaWorld Orlando were recently approved. Will be a fresh building rather than taking over an existing space. Will sit right next to the Orca Stadium in an area of the park that has seen significant development in the past 5 years.
