South West Surrey Conservatives

More on my meeting with DEFRA's SoS George Eustice, as part of my Protect Our Green Spaces campaign. We discussed 2 big issues: 1. What can we do to reduce sewage overflows into the River Wey & other local rivers? 2. Can we turn The Surrey Hills AONB into a national park?

The Duke of Edinburgh personified the sense of duty that makes us so proud of our Royal Family and so proud to be British. Thank you for your service to our country and RIP

Why I am so proud to be British. Thank you Your Majesty for speaking for us all tonight in your thanks to NHS and frontline workers, for giving us confidence in our national virtues and also hope in a dark time.

Thoughts with @BorisJohnson this evening. Whatever political persuasion the whole country is united in wanting our PM to get fit and well as soon as possible #BackBoris

So pleased to see pictures of Nazanin outside prison walls. We now need her home for good.#FreeNazanin

I used to be an entrepreneur (you may have heard...) & here's what another one has done brilliantly in Haslemere. In order to save the under threat Post Office, Douglas Howard trained as a postmaster, opened a food shop on site & today opens a bar upstairs. Good luck & cheers!

Haslemere Minor Injuries Unit: why we need it according to people I met there last week, including local GP Dr Phil Ridsdill Smith

Good mtgs on Friday with Haslemere hospital campaigners+local NHS bosses. Would be madness to lose the MIU given pressures on the Royal Surrey A&E now. I’m organising a public mtg to make sure risks are properly discussed before any decision made. Here's what people said to me...

I want to pay tribute to the PM today. Delivering Brexit was always going to be a huge task, but one she met every day with courage & resolve. NHS will have an extra £20bn thanks to her support, and she leaves the country safer and more secure. A true public servant.
