Rescuing nicotinic responses in aging by harnessing muscarinic signaling pathways. I'm so excited to have this project out, thank you @Sridevi292 @LambeLab @physiologyuoft. Check it out here rdcu.be/c3jbU
Need to recover lost #nicotinic currents? It is possible even in the older brain with #xanomeline & #NS9283. Paper now @npp_journal Kudos to stellar graduate students @saigepower @sridevi292 @physiologyuoft Here's the link: rdcu.be/c3ij5
Curious about endogenous serotonin and SSRIs in the mPFC? 🐁⚡️💊

@Luna3150 @physiologyuoft used optophysiology to show that #CCK interneurons inhibit ventral hippocampus neurons tagged with #retrobead labelling from the nucleus accumbens. Great working with @jckimlab again!
I’m at #SfN2023 presenting my latest work in the @LambeLab. Come visit…

Exciting NMDA receptor work from great current and former lab mates @Sridevi292 @binko_mary and collaborators @camielnik @ajr937
What happens when Grin1 deficiency leaves neurons with too few NMDA receptors (NMDARs)?
Turns out there is a selective loss of extrasynaptic NMDARs compromising dendritic plateaus.
Adult genetic intervention can bring them back!
