Two points: 1. Women should be intentional about pregnancy, or bear the consequences alone 2. A man who discriminates between his seed is a fool
I can now talk about this since time has passed. My late friend was an affair kid and I remember how she tried reaching out to her siblings and dad and they all blocked her. When she died from an accident, I informed them of her passing and not even her dad came to the burial.

The lazy "CIA did it" argument currently being aggressively championed by David Hundeyin and his Spearhead team as the ultimate, all-encompassing framework to explain our present political decay and socio-economic woes is ultimately invalid, and completely breaks down in the face of even the most rudimentary, basic application of common sense. Of course, this is not to say that all our problems are completely localized, self-inflicted, or that there is no form of foreign interference, imperialist meddling, and covert sabotage in our politics and governance. In fact, I myself have written dozens of articles indicating, exposing, and directly implicating CIA interference in our academic institutions, our media houses, our civil society organizations, and our political space. I have also written extensively, and unapologetically about Western-backed assassinations, and the brutal economic structures such as predatory IMF debts, rigged World Trade Organization treaties, and suffocating structural adjustment programs that were deliberately put in place to facilitate the neocolonial extraction of African wealth, solid minerals, and human resources. However, these essays of mine should be viewed first and foremost as a vital historical lesson, because I firmly believe it is completely impossible to achieve genuine political consciousness, or strategic foresight without a solid grounding in history. Secondly, apart from serving as a historical record, I present them strictly as a materialist thesis to explain exactly how global capital interacts with the Global South, how multinational cartels operate, and the extreme, violent measures taken by global empires to preserve the political and economic configurations that facilitate the extraction of wealth from the bleeding interior to the wealthy periphery. I do not present them as an unquestionable religious dogma, neither do I pretend to showcase them as the one and only roadmap toward understanding the complex, multi-layered political climate of Nigeria in particular and Africa in general. Indeed, one simply cannot pretend that our local leaders are mindless, helpless puppets without cognitive agency who are merely acting on the direct, robotic orders and mandates of their masters in Western capitals. If a corrupt politician in Nigeria ruthlessly loots billions of dollars reserved for national electricity grids, public hospitals, and primary schools, and instead diverts that stolen money into purchasing luxury real estate portfolios in Dubai, buying private jets, acquiring offshore trust funds, and hoarding exotic cars under his family name, while at the exact same time signing away multi-billion-dollar mineral contracts to American defense contractors just to politically protect his regime, then that person has officially ceased to be a mere puppet. His status ultimately, undeniably upgrades to that of a ruthless colonial governor, a willing comprador elite, and a highly active participant in the exact same global capitalist system keeping his own people perpetually poor, starving, and subjugated. This is the exact same logic the Chinese ultimately used to survive the devastating Opium Wars and reclaim their sovereignty. The greedy Chinese merchants and local warlords who were actively smuggling toxic drugs from British ships into the inland provinces of China were not treated as mindless, innocent puppets without any form of agency. They were treated first and foremost as the primary targets, the domestic enemies, and the willing, blood-soaked collaborators of Western imperialism. Furthermore, even if we completely surrendered all forms of logical reasoning, abandoned our intellect, and succumbed to David Hundeyin's relentless online harassment and lazy insistence that the "CIA did it" every single time a pothole appears on the road, this argument still spectacularly breaks down. It fails because the narrative is being deceptively presented as if merely removing foreign interference, closing Western embassies, and kicking out foreign spies would suddenly, magically lead to our total economic liberation. In brutal reality, Nigeria is so deeply, structurally embedded into global capitalism that even if the IMF permanently shut down its Abuja office today, the greedy Black billionaires, local banking cartels, and corporate oligarchs in Africa would happily open a brand-new, indigenous exploitation office the very next morning to enslave their own people in predatory debt just to increase their own profit margins. With or without the direct, visible colonial structure of extraction, I do not see any serious, materialist analysis that can ever guarantee the economic freedom, human dignity, and survival of the poor working-class masses in Nigeria without a complete systemic overhaul, a radical psychological realignment, and a highly disciplined mass revolutionary campaign. Even the romanticized military coup that David Hundeyin is recklessly championing as the only viable solution is still a fundamentally extractive, oppressive, and capitalist system. The incoming military generals and the khaki-wearing dictators will ultimately, inevitably enrich their own inner circles, award bloated defense contracts to their cronies, and loot state resources with absolute impunity under the banner of "Pan-Africanism", exactly as the civilian political class is currently doing under this rotten, democratic political establishment. So, while I completely agree that we absolutely cannot over-localize our problems, ignore complex geopolitical dynamics, or dismiss the very real threat of foreign intelligence operations, we simply cannot continue to childishly pretend as if 100% of our structural problems, institutional decay, and economic misery can be lazily, conveniently attributed to the "white man." We cannot keep pointing fingers at invisible foreign ghosts while deliberately ignoring the brutal e reality of how global capitalism and local elite greed are actively destroying our local political space and ultimately pushing our people below the poverty line every single day.

The one point I differ with Hundeyin There is zero agency amongst Africans. They are western pawns He'd probably squeeze CIA culpability into this . So sorry man So sorry This is avoidable

Queen of dumbassery Boreholes are a painful private solution to public /governance failure, and they are mostly commercial
The main root of the problem is the Nairobi middle class has never wanted piped water because they thought they would get away with individually drilling boreholes Now they are struggling with the economics of boreholes. We want toll roads but not piped water

Since Iran war I have always wondered how different the world would be if US shared a border with a country that bordered Iran
The Houthi campaign against Saudi airports is a taste of things to come. The basic story here is that the world where the imperial and sub-imperial power could deliver one-way terror with the air weapon, while they were themselves protected from any retaliation by the fellah is over. The diffusion of precision-strike has dramatically raised the cost of imperial violence. If the Saudis want to impose their will on Yemen. This is now the new price. There is no repealing this development. It is not going anywhere. The world of one-sided imperial violence is not coming back. Cry me a river.

From @TheAthletic: LeBron James will make nearly four times as much promoting the Polymarket prediction market as he will from playing basketball. The deal may not break NBA rules, but it raises uncomfortable questions. nyti.ms/476hxP5
