In the UK if you punch a female police officer in public, surrounded by witnesses and captured on CCTV you will be released on bail
If you pop an empty boat in the English Channel you will be denied bail and kept in prison for 5 months without trial

The PM wants to slash tuition fees for EU students from £38,000 to £9,535.
Up to £450m a year of our money to do it.
Our own kids pay full whack and leave with a mountain of debt.
Why are we cutting the bill for everyone else first?
Your kids pay. Theirs get the discount. And you're picking up the tab.
Newcastle’s shirt is truly hideous. All striped shirts of varying stripe width invariably are. Including when Nike did it to Barça.
Watched the first ten minutes of Newcastle v Everton as Mrs out for a meal with her mate.
I get the feeling Everton will win this.

As "Islamophobia Awareness Month" begins:
It is an ideal time to remember the countless victims of Islamic terrorism. As well as the millions who suffer today under repressive Islamist regimes. And do not forget the Christians being persecuted wherever a Muslim majority rules.
I didn’t watch this match, so only just seen this.
The fact that VAR didn’t get involved proves the point that VAR solves nothing.
See also Real Madrid’s dive penalty that was awarded today. VARs choose what they want to give. Scrap it.

Today Labour MPs have:
- said employers aren’t workers so they can tax them more (Reynolds)
- refused to commit to the 3% defence spending target (Healey)
- said we should rejoin the EU after campaigning saying we shouldn’t (Reeves)
- opened the door to slavery reparations by talking up an official apology (Burnham)
Are their priorities your priorities?

Large amount of Police at Dover with dogs today.
To stop the invasion?
Of course not, they're there against the British public who are protesting about it.

Can anyone in the UK explain to me how these people will improve our country, economy and moral values? And Andy Burnham wants to give them safer routes!

Any word on the Islamic slave trade? Which only ended in 1962? No, thought not.
A welcome step from the PM.
The Transatlantic Slave Trade was one of history’s most heinous crimes.
We must be honest about how the horrors of our past have shaped the present - because only then can we begin to build a fairer future for everyone.

In London 7 July 2005, 4 jihadi bombers detonated devices. Resulting in 52 fatalities & 784 injuries, 24 of them critically.
This would have been even more if the second round of Islamist suicide bombers managed to detonate, thankfully the bombs didn’t work.
This Islamophobia Awareness Month, we must shine a light on the abhorrent hatred and discrimination Muslims continue to face.
In the last year alone, religious hate crimes targeting Muslims rose by 15% in England and Wales.
This is utterly unacceptable. London will always stand against hatred, prejudice and discrimination.

I bet most employers work more hours than she does.
Absolutely clueless. No wonder businesses are going bust.

Mad how Axel Rudakubana's genocidal ancestry has no bearing on his Welsh Choirboyness, even though his parents moved here right before his birth, but I'm completely responsible for Transatlantic slavery 500 years ago.
