Sport Republic have broken Southampton.
They gambled on potential, wasted millions on mediocrity, and lost sight of everything that made us who we are.
Will Still isn’t the cause - he’s the consequence.
Sport Republic have turned once a model club into a mess.

WHOLESALE changes tonight.
Tonight we see how good the SQUAD is. We all know our usual XI can compete at the highest level in this league, is just the depth that holds a question mark.
BIG opportunity tonight for the likes of Abbott/Edozie/Dobbin to prove their worth.
Here’s how Southampton line up to face Norwich City this evening #saintsfc

Dragan has backed Tonda since the Summer. There’s no reason why terms should not already be agreed in principle if the reality is as he’s said publicly.

Now Tonda Eckert has been cleared to manage, the club's next step should be obvious. His contract expires next summer.
Deal's probably already been discussed - might even be agreed - but if not, it should be. Saints need to protect themselves.

Will be very interesting to see how football governance views more than £900m of financial doping over nine years compared to a lad in jeans with an iPhone. Hard to justify anything other than the harshest possible sanctions. Feel for Man City fans, they’ve been cheated as well.
Do we think there’s any correlation between City’s 114 charges and the FA’s delay in Tonda’s ruling? #Saintsfc

While we wait for a #Spygate update…
Understanding of FA process is:
1) Initial hearing with an Independent Regulatory Commission made up of pre-approved Judicial Panel members
2) Decision accepted or subject to appeal within 14 days*
3) Upon receiving Notice of Appeal, Respondent then has up to 21 days to reply
4) Appeal board chaired by a barrister or solicitor, includes two non-council panel members and one independent
5) Appeal board’s decision is final. No escalation to CAS.
*Timings open to extension on approval by the board.

Clearly #SaintsFC aren't confident heading into tomorrow based off the Phil Parsons / Tonda Eckert interviews earlier in the week. Been a tiring saga that hasn't rested - glad it should be all over soon, but certainly feel uncertain times could still be ahead.
Sadly expecting a ban for Tonda today.
There has to be a point where sporting justice stops being about punishment for punishment’s sake.
The idea that months down the line, the FA can add layers to a punishment already served is a concerning precedent for football.
