It’s ok to be tired. It’s ok to be scared. It’s ok to have a bad day. It’s not ok to be unkind. The person you are talking to might also be tired, scared or having a bad day. Your unkind words might be the thing that breaks them. #KindnessMatters @charliemackesy

We know the England team losing the #EURO2024 is the worst outcome for some, for others however it's the reality of waiting for their partner to come home. Football doesn't cause #DomesticAbuse, abusers do. Share our helpline so women know they are not alone 👇🏼👇🏿

I'm gonna explain to y'all why Britain considers 78°F/25°C hot. I know hot because I grew up in Texas and spent half my life in Las Vegas. So I am absolutely qualified to explain this to the rest of you who laugh at UK "heat waves".

There's a myth that "change has to start at the top". Change doesn't come from top-down or bottom up. Change can come from anywhere. It emanates from the centre of networks. We get to the centre through small groups, loosely connected & uniting them with a shared purpose. It is generally a more successful strategy to "grow" change by attracting people, than to "drive" change by overpowering people: greg-satell.medium.com/chang…. By @digitaltonto.

Building a sense of belonging is one of the most important factors in improving performance & productivity. Research in @HarvardBiz showed high belonging was linked to a 56% increase in job performance. By fostering an environment of acceptance, understanding & appreciation for the unique talents that each person brings, we can help everyone feel like they belong: forbes.com/sites/dedehenley/…. The NHS National Staff Survey results for Trusts are published today. I hope nowhere tries to spin results to make them look better than they are. Where progress is made it should be showcased. Where data is not good say so - it's a focus for listening harder and for more work!

I am empathetic with my team. But I am unequivocal about the quality that I require.

2/ receive and we must work together to create a workforce culture that has this at its very core. Sharing learning is a privilege and learning from others in return is the key to success

An absolute pleasure to present the QEH staff health and well-being passport to the East of England health and well-being collaborative event today, always keen to share learning and ideas with others for the benefit of NHS colleagues.

Today a colleague took time out of their day to fetch me some lunch, having recognised my diary meant I wouldn’t be able to eat until the end of the day. Grateful for a team who look out for each others wellbeing, small acts of kindness go a long way and should be underestimated.

It may have been the ‘unconventional’ route but shes gone and done it! Heres to spreading the word about Radiography Apprenticeships and the AMAZING opportunities they provide to individuals where a undergrad uni degree wouldn’t be possible! @SCoRMembers @The_HCPC @DiagnosticU

LOVE that one of the #WorldBookDay2023 free books for kids is this. Love even more that I could buy a copy for myself. Because we can all, always, try harder to be better allies.

Eurgh goodness this hits close to home. My kids are everything, but parenting teenagers is HARD. Grateful my boys are mostly little legends, but suddenly they speak a different language, need different things. Sad that we don’t feel able to say it out loud, I miss my ‘babies’.
I was a great dad when my kids were little. I could make them laugh and we played and had loads of fun. I'm lost now they're teenagers and I hate it. I miss them so much.
