Imagine contributing to an early access game midway through development, and them locking features at that midway state while they ask an even higher price than you originally paid for the more updated features. That's the precedent Star Citizen set with the Aurora, and it looks like they're doing it with the Constellation. I always wondered what they would do with the backlog of older ships, the answer seems to be make newer versions and charge you for the up to date features. The way I was sold ships was that they were for a future release of 1.0, not for the current state of the alpha. So we early backers are just left with older, objectively inferior ships to newer more expensive versions? @RobertsSpaceInd Am I being to cynical here?
