When students feel they belong, they are more likely to achieve their goals.
That's why creating a sense of belonging isn't extra work. It's student success work.
This HSI Week, we're celebrating the cultures, experiences, and stories that strengthen our campus community.
Strong colleges help build strong communities.
When students thrive, families thrive.
When families thrive, communities thrive.
HSI work isn't about college success. It's about expanding opportunity, strengthening economic mobility, and creating community for everyone. #HSIWeek
Being HSI-minded means seeing students' strengths before their challenges.
It means designing systems that honor students' experiences, cultures, languages, and aspirations.
We believe educational dignity means every student deserves to be seen, supported, and empowered.

Choosing a college is one of the most consequential decisions a student will make. When making that decision, students deserve the full picture.
My Time for Completion Act will help students make more informed decisions, find their ideal institution, and have the best chance to succeed.
Thank you, Representative @ArielDefay for visiting our South City Campus and your continued support of SLCC!
