đšUnmatched Applicants! New Programs opened to start this July!
If you're still looking for opportunities in the 2025 Match cycle, this might be your shot:
5 new Emergency Medicine programs and 6 Neurology programs have been accredited this month (April 2025) and will likely accept applicants starting July 2025.
â
Plus 4 in OBGYN & 10 for Psychiatry accredited in February 2025.
We highly recommend reaching out to these programs directly to see if you'd be eligible to participate in this year's cycle if you are unmatched.
You never know what doors might open. đ

Hey residents, itâs ok if you sucked today as long as you sucked less than you sucked yesterday. Suck less every day.

I drive past this auto shop every day; they put up quotes weekly. Early on in med school, I struggled and was even at the bottom of my class. In those dark days seeing these kept me going.
Drove past this today. If you're having a rough patch-hang in there, you have more in you.

I got an email from the @AAMCtoday as a reminder for residency program directors that "the four medical schools in Puerto Rico are fully accredited by the LCME, are US medical school members of the AAMC, & that Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens who carry U.S. passports." SMH.

Mad respect for King James.
But the vote today was a poll, and at this point the season will likely resume. The NBA platform is too big not to utilize for good, today was a great example of how sports can be leveraged to send an international message.
