Today on the Floor of Parliament, I called for stronger adolescent-friendly health services in government health facilities, including confidential counselling, trained health workers and accessible care. Our young people need support, not stigma. Let’s turn policy commitments into services that save lives @SRHRAllianceUg @ElmaKapelChalla @SamBegira @MwineTumwebaze @KanyesigyeMerc1 @UPFYA_2008 @FarajaAfricaFdn

Diplomacy 🇺🇬🇩🇿 As Youth MPs, our visit to the Algerian Embassy was a call for stronger Uganda–Algeria cooperation in education, student exchange programmes, and skills development. We must turn diplomatic ties into tangible opportunities for young people! #YouthLeadership

Engaging with the Algerian Ambassador alongside Regional Youth MPs to explore how best our young people can benefit from the mission. We learnt about the Algerian Government’s scholarship programme, established in 1982, which we hope to leverage to expand educational opportunities and support our youth.

Since 1987, the @AlgeriainUganda has supported Ugandan students through annual scholarship programmes. We paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mourad Amokrane, Algeria’s Ambassador to Uganda, to explore possible opportunities in education and skills development for Uganda’s young people

Yesterday, I engaged with my fellow Youth Members of Parliament to align our collective efforts in driving youth development across the country.🤝 From legislative synergies on the floor of Parliament to practical community outreach, we agreed on clear strategies to ensure young people are informed, empowered, and able to benefit directly from government initiatives. Unified leadership and deliberate coordination are vital to ensuring no young person is left behind. Moving forward together! @Parliament_Ug
