If you like my work but pennies are short, this is a brilliant way to help keep my little business going and get 12 of my paintings on your wall for all of next year.
Or you can tell other people about them. Because that, to me, is priceless.
❤️❤️❤️
A little bit of hedgehog love this morning.
It's really wet here this morning. I hope that the hogs are safe and well out there.
🦔♥️
I've a cosmos plant by the back door that is looking so wonderful right now.
I didn't plant it as such, just sprinkled last year's seeds liberally at it's feet this time last year.
Collected the rest and grew them round the garden.
Cosmos is the gift that keeps on giving 🌸
William Shakespeare (who shares a birthday with my grandad)
“Are you sure That we are awake? It seems to me that yet we sleep, we dream."
And some of my favourite things in this picture - autumn leaves, a beautiful fox, magpies and golden ferns.
Sometimes I work on a series of paintings at a time.
And though it was many years ago, this was the case with these. I'll pop authors below.
But I hope you like them.
And good morning on this beautiful sunny morning here in Dorset ☀️🍂
Autumn donkey sunny day.
New little original Robin paintings.
A new pebble. I have never combined ping, green and red before but love that colour combination.
Have a wonderful Sunday ❤️
Some old, some new.
Words by Mary Oliver, Virginia Woolf and Isaac Watts.
All painted in watercolours. The bee is on handmade paper with leaves inside it.
No ai. No crappy t@mu products.
Just love and hours of work with a brush and paint.
Painted pebbles and painted wooden hearts.
Messages of loves that you can hold in your hand.
Not mass produced in China or generated by AI.
Just a foolish woman, sat at the kitchen table, destroying the muscles in her neck one day at a time.
I hope you like them.
I have all four of these paintings as cards in case there's anyone in your life who might enjoy getting a little Wren love.
Bluebell has words by Larkin.
Cherry blossom has words by Shakespeare.
All painted in watercolours with love and joy.
Though I love that our new bank notes have chosen wildlife to be featured on them, I would love to see some of these beauties features too (though the hedgehog has made it on there).
Beautiful creatures to be celebrated in whatever way we can. #womensart
Friendship is a sheltering tree.
With words by Samuel Taylor Coleridge's poem 'Youth and Age'.
My painting is in watercolours with Schmincke Aqua Bronze for the golden parts.
If you'd like to see more of my work, there's a samcannonart place you can go to.
It's a d0t c0m.❤️
I'm late posting today as the fox hunters were out in the fields next to my donkeys.
I headed out across the fields to film them - they aren't so keen on that and pushed off.
It's a beautiful day, they could be doing so many other wonderful things.......
A visitor at the kitchen door.
A drawer full of goodies.
Painting letters - I always use a brush & paint, never a computer, device or ai.
Colouring in the letters with gold paint.
Pure indulgence as an artist ❤️🦚
