FT Ashton Athletic 2 - 1 @Padiham_FC A great way to end our pre-season, and a top game of football to watch. But tonight was about so much more than the result. Tonight’s game brought together two clubs that were a big part of Bandy’s football journey. A special evening to remember a top player on the pitch, and an even better person off it. ❤️ A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support the occasion, especially Bandy’s friends and family. We look forward to doing it all again next year. 💛💙

Honouring a Club Legend 🏆 The inaugural Chris “Bandy” Bandell Memorial Trophy takes place on Tuesday night, as Ashton Athletic take on Padiham in a special match to honour one of our own. Bandy was an Ashton Athletic legend whose impact on the club stretched far beyond the pitch. A true character, teammate and friend, he gave so much to the club, both on and off the field, and his legacy will never be forgotten. We’d love to see all of Bandy’s family, friends, former teammates, and everyone who knew him join us as we come together to celebrate his life and the incredible memories he gave us. Let’s make it a fitting tribute to a true Ashton Athletic great. 💛💙 🆚 @Padiham_FC 📅 Tuesday 28th July 📍 Brocstedes Park ⏰ KO 7:45PM #OneOfOurOwn #Bandy #AshtonAthletic #ForeverAYellow
