The biggest issue I have with sacking Rui Borges (he needs to be) is that is there really any names out there that would make sense? Abel you’d be waiting till December. Sérgio Conceição would never come I’ve seen Vitor P, Schmidt, Motta been mentioned… But like.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

A somewhat shocking result in league this game week, as Vitória put five past Marítimo. To put that into perspective, Vitória had scored just five goals in their first eight league games combined before this match.

Worth noting that all 5 of Sporting’s last goals conceded have all come through Maxi’s side of the pitch

Académico De Viseu are a very well coached team. Very physical and a well drilled team There’s a reason they have won their last 5 and already took points off Benfica. However theres no excuse to lose to them at home.

One of the more aesthetic examples of initiatives raising awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month was protagonised by Gil Vicente. Liga Portugal clubs have really played their part 🩷

Ruben Amorim got a lot wrong. But he worked Manchester United out in a matter of days. And look where we are now, exactly where he said we’d be.
