I’m sad to hear of Sheldon’s passing. EDH/Commander brought Magic to life for myself and countless others, opening the doors to a world of endless, joyful brewing and bickering. May he rest in peace and rest in power - the world is brighter because of him.

Would you have done better in school if getting good grades meant you got Magic cards? Today I prepped these boxes full of goodies that kids will soon be earning from our “Game for Grades” prize wall.

Lorcana rules are out! Racing to build up lore points instead of knocking out life feels more like Keyforge than Magic. Also curious about how cost balancing will work

Really glad to see Oathbreaker getting the love and attention it deserves. With MOM around the corner, I'd like to point out that Planechase Oathbreaker > Planechase EDH in terms of flavor and game length, if your group is looking for some casual kitchen table fun! #MTGOath

Ben did an amazing job as the DMR design lead. An absolute joy to work with every step of the way!

As my last hoorah at WotC, I had the pleasure to lead Dominaria Remastered. Lots of feelings, I hope you get to play and enjoy!

Just like @shroud, many of you were excited about my 3D system based on YuGiOh! Unfortunately, I was unable to get the approval from the rightful stakeholders, therefore, I am both unable to continue the development of this project, and unable to keep using it.

Seeing some turmoil on #MTG Twitter about the current state of the platform, and I want to say... the beating heart of any TCG has always been, and will always be, your local scene. Your LGS, your friend group, your siblings and colleagues and #SpellTable gang. (1/3)

Twitter is vocal, but it has always been a minority. The majority of Magic players are, effectively, the IRL folks you play Commander and Prereleases and FNM with. So if Twitter loses its appeal, engaging more with those smaller groups is never a bad idea. And if... (2/3)

...the redirected time & effort put into building up your local scene ends up creating more Magic players, and it makes you new friends to trade and game with... well, that would be the biggest win for everybody. (3/3)

Glad to see Magic featured briefly in one of Masahiro Sakurai's videos. His new Youtube channel is a great opportunity to learn game design basics straight from the creator of Kirby and Smash Bros
