Terrible news from Spain: Tenerife player Jesus de Miguel has sadly passed away.
The striker has could not overcome the serious consequences of the incident suffered during the match against FC Andorra.
A devastating loss for Tenerife and whole football world.
Prayers and thoughtd go out to his family, friends, teammates, and everyone at CD Tenerife during this difficult time.
Rest in peace. 🕊️

It was a grim watch. They constantly went down too, for ages. Ref fell for every single one. Not for me, but I guess if it gets you winning hey.
🚨 🎙️ Gary Neville on Arsenal performance against Liverpool:
🗣️"It is absolutely outrageous, standard Arsenal now under Mikel Arteta. You watch this team every week….they’ve completely abandoned playing football for this dark-arts, haram nonsense.
Look at the Timber pull on Isak in the first half—he’s got a handful of his shirt! It’s a blatant penalty, clear as day… And then the foul by Tzolis... how on earth is that not given? It’s a joke, it really is. They’re kicking people, pulling shirts, committing foul after foul to break up the game, and the referee just stands there and lets them get away with murder.
And as for the officiating in this league? Absolute shambles. The inconsistency week-in, week-out is mind-boggling. You can’t tell me with a straight face that VAR looks at those two incidents and sees nothing wrong. Premier League refereeing is sinking under the weight of its own controversy right now, and teams like Arsenal are capitalizing on it because they know the ref simply hasn't got the courage to make the big call!"

We are not watching football anymore. We are watching Arsenal being carried by the system to win the league. Horrible, absolutely horrible officiating.

Liverpool fans, hold your heads high. Your team put up a performance worth applauding. Only one team came out here to actually play football, and it was Liverpool.
Arsenal came here, scored one goal through a mistake and spent the rest of the game parking the bus. This cannot be what football has become.
All over them and give away a shit goal. Fucking come on guys. Second half let’s kill them like we were and put away our chances
This was arguably the worst performance of our season so far. But we got away with it.
I’m going to look past it and choose to believe that the lads were resting up for Arsenal.
Bournemouth at home in the quarters !
But for now …On to this weekends massive one in the PL !

Liverpool have now won all five of their competitive penalty shootouts against Chelsea in club history.
✅ 2007 UCL Semi-Final
✅ 2019 Super Cup
✅ 2022 Carabao Cup Final
✅ 2022 FA Cup Final
✅ 2026 Carabao Cup R4
I’m all for youth but I’m hooking McConnell and Koumas at half time. They at risk of being sent off and haven’t done much. Bring on the big boys and close this off already
Ronald Araujo is exactly the player we’ve needed for the longest time at LFC. There are way too many soft players in the current team who pull out of tackles and don’t have any aggression. Let’s hope they learn something from the Uruguayan!
