Worth noting that Trump can't just revoke home rule. That takes an act of Congress, where GOP does not have filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. He can obviously flex power over DC in other ways, as we still see with the National Guard presence, and as we saw last summer

NEW: Today, DC council will vote again on an emergency/permanent bill on an extended youth curfew. The latest versions include an amendment by @DoniCrawford which in part, would required DPR to have programming in any area where there's a curfew zone. @DCNewsNow

A search is ongoing for a woman reported missing in Prince George’s County, Maryland this morning.
24 year-old Emonie Ford was last seen at 5pm yesterday on the 1300 block of Fairfield Drive (off of Walker Mill Road) driving a white Ford Focus with Wisconsin tag WH2682D.
Ms. Ford is described as 5’7” and weighing 160 pounds, last seen wearing a hair bonnet with a blue hoodie and black sweatpants.
Her mother reported her missing earlier this morning and is worried due to possible mental health concerns.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts should contact the Prince George’s County Police Department. 🚨

BREAKING: The suspect who is accused of shooting two National Guardsmen has been identified as an Afghan national, according to NBC News.
The incident is being investigated as a possible act of terrorism, according to the outlet.
"The officials said the suspect, who is alleged to have used a handgun, has been initially identified as an Afghan national. Law enforcement officials are still trying to confirm all of the person’s details," NBC reported.
