One of those rare photos that makes you stop in your tracks and whisper, "Wow..."

Having friends with kids is hilarious. What do you mean I'm a recurring character in a toddler's expanded universe?

The difference between Kings Point (West Egg) and Sands Point (East Egg) is also obvious you can see it on Google Maps

book coming 2028!
.@HutchHeinemann has acquired the “propulsive, electric” campus novel I’d Much Rather Be With the Boys in a four-way auction, in a significant deal, on the eve of the Frankfurt Book Fair 2026.
Scheduled for publication in spring 2028. 👇 ebx.sh/EaeIT3
Wouldn't believe anyone else claiming this but it's Paul McCartney so it's obviously true.
Paul McCartney, 84, claims he can 'remember being born' as he recalls hearing the 'clanging of forceps' after his delivery trib.al/Xw38WaC
Yes, he's an American.
Unpopular opinion; No one - literally not a soul - actually enjoys the taste of beer. Not a single human. Those who claim to enjoy beer, don’t actually. It’s really just a social ritual, a form of self deception… the impact of decades of stacked marketing to convince you that beer is anything but an alcohol delivery mechanism. You can enjoy getting sloshed. You can enjoy the social liberation that alcohol offers. You can enjoy the party. But don’t act like you actually like the taste of beer. You don’t. You might think you do. But you don’t. Because it tastes like it looks: bitter dehydrated piss, with bubbles. In the case of Guinness, like diarrhea, with bubbles. And you know it.

$50K First Letters Prize awarded to Erwin Nieuwlaar for finding text in PHerc 343! This is the first time in nearly 2000 years that anyone has read text in this rolled scroll. Our papyrologists reckon it’s part of the expression πᾶ̣ν τ̣ὸ γιν̣όμ̣ε̣[νον, “everything that happens/is generated”

It’s a little known fact that all the words associated with paying to see the Bayeux Tapestry are derived from Anglo-Saxon while all the words for being invited to see it by a corporate sponsor derive from French.
The Bayeux Tapestry has sparked a class war in England. Brits who want to see the 11th-century relic say they’re being treated like Taylor Swift fans on Ticketmaster, while American billionaires, luxury hotel guests, and museum sponsors jump the queue. wsj.com/world/uk/bayeux-tape…
