The tweets 'demonising' defence barristers for doing their jobs is scary. I work as a defence digital forensics expert. I work on cases involving murder, terrorism, rape of minors, indecent images, drug gangs, firearms cases you name it. I specialise in serious crime. 1/4
One thing I have found with all the different types of non-refrigerated non-milks available, there is now no lactose free UHT milk sold in my local Waitrose, Tesco etc. Shelves full of non-milk but no UHT lactose free for me anymore. Rather annoying since I just want milk.
I do find it shocking that my powercut which I posted about with a mere map before I went bellringing last night, could promote so much bile, utter rubbish and racism from people.
People are utterly mad!
Fire on….sausage and mash going in the AGA….
Still no update when power will be back on - and this is why I am always prepared. It’ll be alreet!
Thank you to all the people who have told me they have not got a powercut and it isn’t windy where they are. Great to know…..
It was indeed a map from Northern Power grid of their outages - I didn’t make it up, and my power is still off.
Powercut. Internet has this time remained up….well while the UPS is still with power. I have 4 charged others though 🤣
Another thing for your emergency supplies is to ‘train’ your dog and cat to like getting under a blanket and sitting on your knee. This way you get a free hot bottle. I am currently experiencing a westie one…..
In St Paul’s Jarrow under the Ascended Christ (Fenwick Lawson) is a dedication stone at the top of the Norman arch - reproduction pictured.
It dates to 23rd April in the 15th year of King Ecfrith & the 4th year of Abbot Ceolfrith (685AD) the founders of the church. Incredible.
It is a bit hot in ‘ere - I think the chimney is no longer cold.
It got up to 26C. I’m trying to cool the room down a bit 🤣
I’ve forgotten the Lidl Frosties!!!!!!!
I will have to have cornflakes like a normal adult <sad face>
I’ve been to get some more logs. It is nasty weather so always good to have plenty of logs in just in case. You cannot walk to get logs…..
No doubt someone would also lend me some but best to have your own. And this is how rural people think all the time….
I’ve been out to tie down the garden furniture cover otherwise I will have to collect it from the next village….
Windows from the Saxon period at St Paul’s Jarrow. The glass in the left and right windows were replaced by the Victorians. The middle glass dates from the Saxon monastery workshop, with it found on archaeological digs and replaced in a random patten in 1980.
