One of the best parts of hosting gatherings is when we get to work with @GH0STPIPE. The Michelin star chef background and being the space's chief chocolatier/ chief mycology officer goes a long way but there really are just few things better than filling up our studio with a feast of his creations, love, and madness. He designs each dish around Luci, its influences around the world, tailored to every person in attendance. The day before he shows up with giant mystery boxes of whatever he has foraged in the woods: beds of moss, giant fungi and flora, bleached and beetled skulls and other odds and ends, along with many of the masks we've made together over the years from impregnated sawdust and mycelium - piece by piece he assembles the stage and centerpiece. No matter how long I've lived in NYC and how many restaurants one tries in the process, there just is nothing like what he does. A different kind of breaking bread.
