I sent my filed Fifth Circuit First Amendment brief to Texas legislators and asked them to send it to the Texas Attorney General and Solicitor General for review. Some offices have already acted. Others have declined, deferred, or are still reviewing it. On October 22, 2026, I addressed the Comal Independent School District Board of Trustees during its regularly scheduled meeting. School board trustees are elected representatives entrusted with decisions affecting students, parents, educators, and taxpayers. With that responsibility comes an obligation to respect constitutional rights, maintain transparency, and remain accountable to the communities they serve. Public participation is an essential part of government accountability. Regardless of whether we agree or disagree with what someone says, the public deserves the opportunity to hear the concerns brought before elected officials. I encourage everyone to watch, listen, and draw their own conclusions. Transparency is not a favor granted by government. Accountability is a responsibility of government.

I had the opportunity to speak at the Reeves Community Center in Pecos, Texas, as a 2026 write-in candidate for Texas Lieutenant Governor. My campaign focuses on transparency, accountability, and protecting Texans' rights. I've examined 2025 Texas legislation, documented political contributions connected to the Lieutenant Governor's legislative priorities, and developed initiatives for Texas' future. Texans deserve to know what laws actually do, who gains authority, and how those laws affect their lives. I invite you to examine my work and decide for yourself. texanresilience.net Stephen Samuelson 2026 Write-In Candidate for Texas Lieutenant Governor
