In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the NDA vote share was 43.80%. The INDIA Alliance's vote share was 41.48%. With "just 2% more votes" than their opponents, the BJP - and its supporters like you- behave as if the country is your jagir. So spare me the lessons on hypocrisy.
Replying to @anishgawande
He just got 2% more votes than his opponent. Imagine what you folks would have shouted if modi won the elections by just 1or2 %age points. Shows left hypocrisy and that is why majority of genZ are not falling for your shenanigans except for ideological ones

No stone unturned: "He likened these groups to 'cockroaches, bedbugs, tukde tukde gang, dimagi Naxals' and the coronavirus, and equated Trinamool with radical Islamist 'Jamaatis'."
When you think a BJP CM can't get any lower, one of them takes it as a challenge - and plunges even lower.

Serbian students overthrowing Vučić is an extraordinary achievement. In 2024, they began protesting. In 2025, they transformed a protest movement into civil dissidence. In 2026, they became a political party — and 2 months later, crushed a corrupt state-entrenched authoritarian.

Sad to see Banville hold this view. Art needn't serve a moral or political cause, of course, but it inevitably reflects the values, experiences, and assumptions of the artist.
John Banville profile @Independent_ie and they apparently had a strict word-count; still, I like how they stuff a few more bits from the exchange in at the end. independent.ie/irish-news/se… [€]

Bhakts keep calling me all sorts of names here: 'urban naxal' 'dirty/ugly leftist scum' 'Commie Bong whore'. So I thought I would lean into all this name calling and share a wonderful visual someone shared on Insta about all the things we have because of protests. Protests are indeed the lifeblood of a diminishing democracy.
