Hi all, Karapitiya has got a big donation of heparin by the family of the young doctor who passed away recently. They believe that they should be able to manage with that until government stocks arrive. Thanks everyone
Heart surgery at Karapitiya hospital is at the verge of collapse due to the shortage of an essential drug called Heparin. Anyone willing to help kindly inbox me. Thanks in advance. ♥️

Providing health care to the people is a responsibility of the government, not the health care workers.
Health care workers are only a part of the health care system.
This is Sri Lanka. Where majority of people still believe that women should not get higher education, should not cannot be professionals, scholars. That women should not speak up against injustice.
This woman had guts to speak up while men who make fun of her hide like cowards.
No fuel for me to go to work. Taking public transport from Galle to Badulla is a nightmare. And then I see this on FB!!
I really don’t know who’s doing a genuinely essential service, me or them!!
Brilliant girl from a leading school in Colombo has dropped out her management course in a govt. university due to language difficulty. How pathetic is that.
Online education doesn’t offer support from teachers or peers in such situations. Must be worse for kids from rural areas
A free health service which once upon a time was one of the best in the world is being shattered into pieces.
No life saving drugs.
Surgeries are limited to emergencies and cancers. Not even simple betadine for heart surgeries. No antibiotics. Our Health systems is dying.
