Another movie Hollywood should have made (but likely never will)

Holy Mackerel! @andrewklavan gets the ultimate thumbs up for his great new thriller. Happened twice before that I know of: From Russia with Love (JFK), The Hunt for Red October (Ronald Reagan). Now Cameron Winter joins the Jams Bond - Jack Ryan club.
Great piece from one of the great journos.

I also suggest we're overdue for a political realignment like the early 1990s when Boomers Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich picked the lock Republicans had on the presidency and Democrats had on the House. Who'll do it? Link: washingtonexaminer.com/opini…

Lou wrote a fantastic article for The Blaze about the publishing industry. What he revealed about Aethon Books really surprised me, sadly. Sounds like they are one step away from employing sensitivity readers....
One item I would have added to his argument is the industry's fabricated and self-fulfilling axiom that "men don't read," which is completely false.
This may have only become true in THEIR publishing circles because the fools at the Big 5 have mostly stopped publishing books targeted at men. Just look at the current state of the fantasy genre from the Big 5. Those books are now almost solely being written and published for women. And thanks to those degenerate authors who create them, it's mostly erotica, which only serves to corrupt hearts and minds.
Because of the Big 5, we will never get another Wheel of Time style series ever again. Those seriously retarded fools.
Like with every other art form in our current Age, sane and moral creatives are just going to have to do it themselves.

This is an exceptionally written assessment of the darkness engulfing France, which may extend to our shores unless repelled in two weeks.

This is a splendidly written piece by @CaitlinPacific about the cataclysm that is-was Digger, and a sad note to Tom Cruise. She's kinder to the actor than I am, and definitely to the director, whom I deem a pretentious leftist hack finally self-exposed.

Watching Hammer's Brides of Dracula off @tcm. Wish they made smart, sexy Gothic horror with good heroes like Peter Cushing's Van Helsing today. Best exhange - Van Helsing and the villain's vampirized mother. BARONESS: Then you know who I am. VAN HELSING: I know who you were.
A legend finally gets it right - and gets attacked by his former side.

I love watching The Thin Man movie marathon (starting now on @tcm) but always lament the decline in quality after the second film. Though the fifth one, The Thin Man Goes Home, has its moments, with the actor who played Dr. Mead in Gone with the Wind as Nick Charles's father.
“SNL is no longer part of the counter-culture movement. It’s as safe as a Pop Tart with those ‘dangerous’ corners nibbled off.” @HollywoodInToto on fire with this piece.

I usually have Grok proofread my articles, and have to keep telling it to get stuffed when it constantly flags my left-bashing terms.
Behind artificial intelligence’s carefully cultivated neutrality lies a persistent tendency to favor progressive assumptions, mainstream sources, and ideological conformity.
