John Harbaugh just defined servant leadership with one sentence. 👇
“Do whatever you can to help others be their best and see where it takes you.”
Leadership matters.
New @Giants Head Coach John Harbaugh explains the real concept of servant leadership:
It’s not simply being willing to help... It’s knowing WHO needs your help, WHAT the organization needs, and WHEN your involvement can make the biggest difference:
🏤 Leave the office and find the need. Leadership is never waiting for problems to reach you. Walk the building, observe where the team is struggling, and invest your time where it can create the most value.
Ask players or coaches: “What do you think?”
The people closest to the work often see what the leader cannot.
🆘 Serve the mission by serving the people. Empower them. Trust them. Hold them accountable. Care enough to help them become their best, not because of where it might take you, but because of where it could take all of you together.
📌 Be caring enough to discover WHERE you are needed and humble enough to ask the people around you WHAT they need from you.

Great teams don’t make excuses.
They make adjustments.
There are no “yeah, buts”
“Yeah, but the refs…”
“Yeah, but they’re more talented…”
“Yeah, but we were tired…”
Accountability starts when the excuses stop.

One of the biggest mistakes parents make is confusing protection with preparation. 👇
Snowplow parents clear every obstacle so their child never struggles.
They mean well. But the cost shows up years later.
Don’t clear the path for your child.
Prepare your child for the path.
“So many parents today don't allow their kids to change limits...They're worried about them failing instead of learning. You learn through the experience of failure and success." - Coach K

The victim mindset is a coach’s worst nightmare.
Blaming, making excuses, living in fear, comparing, refusing ownership; it’s a recipe for mediocrity.
Winners reject it.

LAZY vs. HARD WORK

An important message for parents.
Negativity at home always finds its way to the locker room.
Parents have the power to help build a positive culture…or poison it.
