This is ‘Child of the light.’ A 6 by 6 metre bronze and glass sculpture by Karine Berthiaume, sitting on the water of the lake in the city here. The piece shows a hybrid child suspended above the water, reaching toward the light. Fragile, almost rootless, but still stretching. It is about the thin line between human and nature, and the hope that we can still choose a deeper, more lasting connection with what surrounds us.🔥

Amy is a pawn. The two men are M’s making them agents for foreign countries and a cult religion.
Obama hit Ohio yesterday calling Trump an “agent of chaos and cruelty” while campaigning for Amy Acton and Sherrod Brown. If a former president is going to slap labels like that on the current one, he should bring concrete facts and policy specifics instead of vague attacks plus jokes about White House gold trim. Name-calling without evidence doesn’t inform anyone. It just inflames. Former presidents who can’t clear that bar should stay on the sidelines and let current candidates debate the actual record. Voters need substance, not slogans. #Midterms2026 #OhioPolitics

Cordless skilsaw, cutting battery powered. Good to have on the construction site. And for home projects.

The most consequential Christian vote in the 2026 midterms may be the one never cast. When believers stay home, the door opens wider for policies that treat faith as optional, private, or eventually forbidden. History shows what happens next. In country after country taken over by Communist regimes, the Bible was not merely criticized. It was banned, confiscated, or tightly controlled by the state. In the Soviet Union, printing and distributing Scripture outside official channels was treated as a crime. Believers risked prison camps for owning or sharing God’s Word. In China under the Chinese Communist Party, house churches are raided, Bibles are seized or restricted, and official versions are censored to fit the regime’s ideology. In North Korea, possession of a Bible can mean imprisonment or death. Cuba and other Communist states followed the same pattern: close the churches, control the text, and silence those who refuse to submit. These were not accidents. They were deliberate efforts to replace God with the state. Religious freedom does not vanish overnight. It erodes when people who still have the ballot refuse to use it. The 2026 midterms will decide whether America continues to protect the right to worship, teach Scripture, and raise children in the faith, or whether those rights are slowly subordinated to expanding government power. Christians who sit out this election are not remaining neutral. They are leaving the field to those who have already shown, in country after country, that they will ban the Bible once they hold the levers of power. The vote that is never cast may be the one that determines whether the next generation still has a Bible they can open freely. A Chicago Islamic scholar just destroyed the Left’s “Coexist” fairy tale. Mohammad Nusairat, speaking in a November 2025 lecture posted by Chicago’s Men of the Ummah and the Noon Islamic Center in Hoffman Estates, said Islam is not meant to live as one faith among many. He cited the teaching that “Islam is always superior and should never be surpassed.” Then he said it plainly: “Islam is raised high, and nothing is raised above Islam.” “We can’t think of Islam that it came to live with these other religions in the sense that Islam is a religion amongst those religions, and they have a share with the truth, and they have a share of justice, and they have a share of the correct worship of Allah. Islam came to correct all of that. Islam came to remove the oppression of all those religions, and it is the only truth, and it is the only way to justice.” That is not interfaith week. That is supremacy. This is the same Chicago voice who, in another campus setting, called America, the American government, secularism, democracy, and capitalism “cancers.” The Left still tells you nobody is pushing Sharia in America. That is a lie. Look at Minneapolis. In 2006 the City Council approved, and in 2007 the city launched, an official Alternative Financing program built to comply with Islamic law. Sharia forbids riba, interest. So the city stopped calling it interest and started calling it a “rate of return.” Same public money. Different religious wrapper. The city’s own language says the program “conforms with Islamic law.” A private lender puts up half. The city matches the rest, now up to $75,000, at a 2% “rate of return.” Since launch, Minneapolis has issued about $1.44 million through that program to 48 businesses. Eight loans were still active at last report. The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis wrote it up in 2007: a city financing program designed for Muslims and others whose religion forbids interest. The African Development Center, which pushed the city into it, called those terms Sharia-compliant. Minneapolis was the first U.S. city to do this with taxpayer-backed lending. Minnesota’s own Department of Revenue even publishes guidance on how to record “Shariah Compliant” home financing so the profit piece is treated differently than ordinary interest. That is government bending the machinery of public finance around Sharia. And it did not stop at banking. In 2023 Minneapolis became the first major American city to change its noise ordinance so mosques can broadcast the Islamic call to prayer five times a day, including before dawn and late at night. Summer hours can start around 3:30 a.m. Mayor Jacob Frey signed it. The council vote was unanimous. So the pattern is not a conspiracy theory. It is a paper trail: • Theology that rejects coexistence • City loans structured to Sharia • State tax rules written for Sharia mortgages • City noise law rewritten for the adhan If they will rebuild lending around Sharia, why would family courts, schools, speech rules, or policing be off-limits? Religious freedom means a Muslim can live his faith in this country. It does not mean America rewrites public law so Sharia becomes a second operating system. We already have a law of the land. It is the Constitution. One country. One law. No parallel code. If they can get the finance piece, they will try the rest. Don’t pretend you weren’t told.

Raise your children not to lie- with any luck we will have human beings worthy of being in public office. And one question… Have we ever had honest reporters on television?

This is Canada now. A group of men in traditional Indian clothing playing dhol drums and dancing through the aisles of a Walmart while shoppers film them. The video overlay says “This is not INDIA ❌ This is CANADA ✅” Canada is no longer Canada.

Football, baseball, basketball and hockey are all on tonight, and Bravo got put in charge of six screens. He has a system. Somewhere in there it breaks.
A German Shepherd will protect your house. A Cane Corso will scare off intruders. A Belgian Malinois? That knob hear will destroy your kitchen, eat your sofa, and have you down to zero friends within a year. And that's just because you skipped his second 10-mile run. Fantastic dogs. Absolutely terrible idea if you enjoy free time, furniture, or a social life.

Susan Collins is behind in the odds with nine days to go. She’s been here before. Polymarket traders give Democrat Troy Jackson a 58% chance of winning Maine’s Senate seat, while Collins sits at 42%. But the chart shows her climbing back in the final stretch. Back in 2020, nearly every poll had Collins losing, and she won by almost 9 points. Maine voters have a long history of surprising everyone, and this race is still rated a tossup. Will Collins pull off another comeback, or is this Jackson’s year?

These birds can outsmart a lot of people I know and they do it while looking bored the whole time. African greys understand color, shape, numbers and even when you are lying to them. 🥹 They do not just copy words. They use them on purpose and remember who said what. One of them once corrected a researcher who got a count wrong. 🤯 They come from the rainforests of West and Central Africa where they live in big noisy flocks and travel long distances for food. In the wild they average around twenty three years. In a home with good care they routinely hit forty to sixty and sometimes more. 😳 That is a long time to keep a bird that gets bored easily and will tell you about it. Right now they are listed as Endangered. Habitat loss and the pet trade have cut their numbers hard. They need dense forest, other greys, and a lot of mental work. A cage and some seeds is not enough and never was. They are brilliant, loyal and demanding. If you are thinking about one, know exactly what you are signing up for. If you just want to admire them, leave the wild ones where they belong. 💯💙
Gizmo is out there holding a full conversation like he has all day for this. African Greys are one of the smartest birds on the planet. Some of them pick up hundreds of words and actually use them properly, not just mimic. They can solve puzzles, recognize shapes, and form deep bonds with their people. A lot of them will talk to you for hours if you engage back. 🥰 I would be answering this bird all day long. 😂 Watch how he reacts when nobody answers him the level of sassy always gets me 😝 👀

Dogs eat free 😊 This skittish stray has it figured out. Just watch him lock in on the food like he already knows the vendors are soft. No barking, just a little begging— standing there running silent psychological warfare until someone caves. Mission accomplished! This Sweet boy gets to eats like a king.

🚨Texas 31st Congressional District Green Party Candidate Greg J Stoker🚨 In the upcoming November 3, 2026, election for Texas's 31st Congressional District, incumbent Republican John Carter is seeking re-election against Democratic challenger Justin Early and Green Party candidate Gregory James Stoker. Greg J. Stoker is a former U.S. Army Ranger who did four combat tours in Afghanistan—now he’s an anti-imperialist activist running as the Green Party candidate for Texas’s 31st Congressional District. He sailed on the Global Sumud Flotilla to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza and was detained by Israeli forces. He was arrested for disrupting Pete Hegseth’s Senate confirmation hearing.

It’s interesting that Democrats called Trump voters Nazi’s for years. Then they flipped the script and became the Democrat Socialists of America- the true Nazi’s. Incredible.

Imagine catching someone pooping on your lawn, asking her to stop, and then becoming a regular stop on her jogging route. That's what happened to a Colorado Springs family in the summer of 2017. A woman kept coming back week after week, sometimes in front of their kids, carrying her own napkins and walking right past a sign on their wall begging her to stop. When the mom confronted her, she said "Yeah, sorry," and finished her run. The "Mad Pooper" became national news, and Charmin offered a year of free toilet paper if she turned herself in. Then she vanished the moment the whole country started looking, and somehow a photographed jogger became an unsolved mystery. Nine years later, TLC has a documentary, former law enforcement, and a fecal expert on the case, which is quite a career milestone for everyone involved. They're also chasing a possible inside-job angle and one line from a WhatsApp profile that has people rethinking who she was. At what point would you start taking it personally?

In this video I took, you can see see all the pelicans, loons, and sea gulls that always hang out around the Freshwater Bayou locks. They especially are partial to shrimp boats who often are sorting their catch and throwing the by-catch. The boat then departs through the north locks, heading towards the Intracoastal Canal.
