Sunday, October 25, 2026 PLEASE🙏 share for: Petersburg Animal Care and Control 1600 Johnson Road Petersburg, VA 23805 (804) 732-3654 Galaxy🐾🐾 has made herself head gardener. She supervises the weeding, checks on every plant, and taste tests a few she shouldn’t. That’s pretty much how she does everything. If something’s happening, she’s in it. Swinging in the hammock with her foster💕, modeling a toolbox her foster💕 put up on Marketplace, stretched out on the couch once the work’s done. A couple of months in a foster💕 home means she already knows how a house works. She’s house trained, crate trained and spayed. She hops in the car like it was her idea and walks on a leash without dragging you anywhere. She’s sharp, too. Hand her a puzzle feeder and she’ll have it empty and be looking at you for the next one. 🦴 3 to 5 years old, about 40 pounds 🏠 House trained, crate trained, spayed 🌿 Loves the fenced yard, the garden and any water she can find 🐕 Gets along with other dogs 🧩 Food motivated and very smart What gets you is how she winds down. Big personality all day, then she finds your side of the couch, leans in, and falls asleep snoring. Two things to know. She’ll eat sticks, pinecones and anything green if you let her, which makes her a slightly suspicious gardening partner, so keep an eye on her outside. And she’s never lived with a cat. She hasn’t shown any interest in chasing one, but we can’t tell you how she’d do sharing a home with one. Her foster💕 has given her a great start. Now she’s ready for a home of her own. So if she’s your dog, don’t wait on it. 📧 Email [email protected] to set up a time to meet Galaxy🐾🐾. #AdoptGalaxy #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #PetersburgVA #RichmondVA
