We have reviewed the full list of Austin City Council members’ credit card transactions. We reviewed them long, and we reviewed them hard.
What we found was yikes.
It was $445,628.37 charged to government credit cards.
Nearly half a million dollars. Swiped. Tapped. Billed.
Austin, the last fiscal conservative City Council member got voted out in the last election. There are now 5 seats in the City Council are on the ballot. Reform Austin, please vote for Brown, Skinner, Brink, Bowen, and Kam TODAY - October 30 or on November 3! Thank you!

Austin has spent $790,052 of this year's federal anti-poverty grant, all of it on salaries and benefits for 13 city employees.
The city's proof that it's working is that 36 people "transitioned out of poverty."
What counts as a transition is if a household earns more than about $40,000 a year for a family of four, for 90 days.
But nobody checks back after those 90 days to see.
The goal is 41 people. Last year the city reported 49, and it kept the goal at 41 for some reason.
That’s nearly $800,000 in pay and benefits to hit an easy target that only measures three months of income.

DOJ SAYS "H-1B ONLY" JOB AD IS ALLOWED

In August, a Justice Department immigration judge ruled that a discriminatory job ad is not a standalone violation of immigration law. The ad only counts as evidence inside a bigger case, like an American who applied and got passed over.
Attorney General Todd Blanche had 60 days to review it, and 13 House members asked him to. He let it stand, and DOJ told Breitbart the ruling is "consistent with OCAHO precedent."
Title VII bans discriminatory job ads. The immigration law has no ad clause.
DOJ won $5 million from Instacart yesterday. PERM case. Good. That case needed Americans who were shut out of real openings.
But - apparently advertising an H-1B only job is fine!
Until Congress writes an ad ban into the law, "H-1B only" stays fair game.
DoJ's @AGToddBlanche helps CEOs advertise jobs to only H-1B contract workers, via new 'H1Bs-are-minorities-too' policy.
6th Circuit can reverse this discrimination for India's US economy, which clearly clashes with @VP Vance's #H1B reforms.
