The sacred chant of "Jai Jagannath" echoes far beyond words. It is the heartbeat of Odisha, the eternal soul of Bharat, and a timeless reminder that in the eyes of Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannatha, every human being is equal. The Ratha Yatra is not merely a festival; it is the journey of faith itself. It is the sacred moment when Mahaprabhu comes out of the Shree Mandir to bless His devotees, embracing all without distinction and reminding us that before Him, humanity is one. Every turn of the Ratha carries countless prayers, and every pull of its ropes becomes a bond between the devotee and the Divine. With deep reverence and on behalf of the people of Odisha, I have written to Hon'ble Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Ji, requesting the Government of India to support the inclusion of the Ratha Yatra of Shree Jagannatha, Puri, on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Such recognition would honour the hands that shape the sacred Rathas, the Sevayats who preserve age-old traditions, and the millions of devotees whose unwavering faith has kept this living legacy alive across generations. Above all, it would carry to the world Mahaprabhu's eternal message that faith knows no barriers, compassion knows no boundaries, and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam is not merely an ideal, but a way of life. May the blessings of Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannatha continue to illuminate our path and inspire the world with His eternal message of peace, compassion, and universal brotherhood. Jai Jagannath 🙏 @gssjodhpur @PMOIndia

Under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri @MohanMOdisha, Odisha is rapidly emerging as a leading investment and manufacturing destination. Recognised among India’s top-performing states in NITI Aayog’s Investment Friendliness Index 2026, this progress reflects the State Government’s sustained efforts to strengthen investor confidence and accelerate industrialisation. Forbes India’s feature on Epic Group’s $100 million Trimetro Apparel Campus in Bhubaneswar further validates this transformation. India’s first net-zero carbon and net-zero water garment manufacturing campus will produce 20 million garments annually and create around 10,000 jobs, with women comprising nearly 80% of the workforce, enabling more Odias to build prosperous careers within the State. forbesindia.com/article/upfr…
