Today is my 6 months' birthday in this NFT ecosystem. So I'm sharing with you my journey with you guys! Tell me your story too! Thanks to everyone I met along the way...we are just getting started!
I will post a case study after a market shake out for NFTs, topic is "How Normies managed survive"
I already know how, but it will take few more months, maybe years for majority to realize it.
This space is (maybe always been) built around speculation rather than what's really built and core values kept.
In Normies we choose to be speculation-free, like "join if you really like it".
Amazing work, you should study @laurentCastell if you don’t know his art yet!
And while everyone is fighting on a social network right now (it's all about business in the end) : Normies are continuing to grow, more and more!
"Everyone hates gatekeeping until the right person opens a door for them personally."
Art does not need permission. Correct.
But - Recognition does.
You can make whatever you want. But you cannot make the market care.
The market reads signals to assign value:
who collects you, how many followers you have, who puts their reputation behind your work, previous prices, trading volume, etc.
Those signals shape what gets called “quality” - and what attracts liquidity.
Everyone hates gatekeeping until the right person opens a door for them personally.
The irony of Ossen’s post is that they’re rallying people against gatekeepers while holding gatekeeping power themselves.
If Ossen sweeps your collection, that endorsement can shift how the market sees your work overnight.
So while it may feel cathartic to find a common enemy in “gatekeepers” like 6529, Cozomo, and - dare I say - Ossen's favourite collecting platform SuperRare, where the house eats 15% of all primary sales
Those platforms charge those fees for that exact reason: the promise is access, visibility, and the credibility of their endorsement.
Whether they deliver enough to justify those fees is the only real argument here. But trying to make a common enemy of them is potentially the biggest waste of time for everyone in the nft art space.
So what do you do as an artist?
IMO, you shouldn’t mistake gatekeepers for the entire explanation of why your work hasn’t succeeded.
It’s a tough pill to swallow: but how you’ve played the game may have more to do with your market results than you want to admit.
The market isn’t judging your art and your story in isolation.
It’s judging the signals around them. And that is where you should focus if you really want to make it as an artists in cypto.

Guys, of course there is art, of course there is talent.
But in the end, it's all about artists who are getting paid and you, buying art because you've got the money to have that passion, or you, buying art to try to make money out of it.
And that's ok, don't put a mask, be real.

Extremely tired
I work my ass off marketing my work and get minimal support for the % I pay but platforms such as TL take a much smaller cut so it’s been nice to use them
Money attracts people. It’s a market after all. It’s all about money. It’s not a bad word. That’s just it and that’s fine. People needs to not lie about it, that’s it!
Artists’ reactions to Ossen:
If Ossen doesn’t buy their art:
“Just another whale using his buying power to get attention. He’ll probably go back to extracting value from people at some point.”
If Ossen buys their art:
“Everyone needs to appreciate what Ossen is doing. He’s supporting artists, challenging old conventions, bringing fresh perspectives to the space, and redefining what art collecting can look like.”
Funny how the narrative changes depending on whether you benefit from it.
I made an arcade beat 'em up. You play the shop manager.
Streets of Nice. Inspired by the man who tried to protect his game store in Nice, France. Free, no ads.
My thoughts are with every shopkeeper hit by the riots.

Today I had a call with @nxt3d, there are things that should be improved and built into the current Agent NFTs ecosystem.
Good news: He already have the solution as he had for the Agent NFTs (ERC-8217).
Building for all ecosystem, not only for Normies.
It’s been always the case for us, let’s get it done.
Who besides me are still using NFT Nexus?👀
thenftnexus.vercel.app/
It costs me money so...if nobody is using it...
I want to do a live here about "How to be a better builder in Web3" : talking about AI, how to contribute to NFT communities, support artists and everything.
Would you be there for that? What do you want to learn exactly?
100%This is what I wanted!
0%Meh, why not...

We can say what we want. I have to give a lot of credits to @serc1n for being focus since February on @normiesART, ignoring the noise and building more and more.
If one collection deserve everything, it’s Normies.
Dedication is real and everything.
