Our membership has given us the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders across its community. Día de la Uva en Español 2026, a Spanish-language Grape Day, is one such engagement we are looking forward to participating in next week. Scanit session: Presentation with Q&A (1:45–2:45 PM) and a booth through the event. Our Customer Experience Manager, Marcos Martinez, will speak on autonomous airborne spore detection for targeted powdery mildew spray timing, and how this data can help growers optimize spray schedules and promote labor efficiency. The SporeCam tells you when inoculum is actually present, so spray timing follows the disease rather than the calendar. This also points to scouting at the blocks/vineyards that matter, cutting the labor and fuel spent walking and spraying ground that didn’t need it.
