If you live in #Chicago there is a ballot initiative to bring back #shotspotter as a police and emergency medical aid tool, even endorsed by the Trib Editorial Board A “YES” vote is a vote for some added safety and bringing faster aid to shooting victims, some of whom are innocent bystanders We are approaching 100 people “found shot” where no call to police or EMS came in, the victim was simply found bleeding I have monitored Chicago scanners and crime issues for decades. ShotSpotter was a valuable tool that should never have been taken down @saveshotspotter
