Wilkinson, DeGourville & Lanier check in for the #Huskers as the first off the bench. Leonhardt has started nicely tonight with 4/4/2, but the Dolphins have countered with high efficiency - shooting 50% fld so far. #Nebrasketball leads 19-17 at the U12.

#Nebrasketball wins the tip and the season is officially underway. The #Huskers offense has looked solid out of the gate, converting their first four FG’s. The Dolphins, however, have hit 2/4 triples and own an early lead. NU trails 12-10 at the first media.

The Encore. #Nebrasketball made history last season - winning 27 games, capturing the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament victory and reaching its first Sweet 16. But the story isn't finished. It's Gameday. Welcome back, #Nebrasketball.

In 2023-24, the #Huskers stormed out of the gate to a 12-2 start - but many still doubted their ability. NU answered by sending shockwaves across the country, throttling #1 Purdue 88-72. It was the program's first win over a #1 team in 31 years. 1 Day until #Nebrasketball.

In the 2026 NCAA Tournament, #Huskers freshman Braden Frager made a go-ahead layup with 2.2 seconds remaining in the game. Nebraska won and advanced to their first ever Sweet 16. 2 Days until #Nebrasketball.

#Nebrasketball opens as a -34 point favorite over Le Moyne at home.

The ultimate triple threat. Last season, Rienk Mast had a career day for the #Huskers against FIU, notching 18 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists - earning only the 3rd triple-double in program history. 3 Days until #Nebrasketball.

The #Huskers faltered to an 0-5 finish in the 2024-25 season, missing the NCAA Tournament. They made the most of the situation, winning 4 straight games to be named champions of the first-ever College Basketball Crown. 4 Days until #Nebrasketball.

Fred praised the exhibition breakout of #Huskers freshman Jacob Lanier - “Jacob, obviously, has been terrific. He’s shown that he belongs on the court.” “He took advantage of his opportunity.”

Hoiberg spoke to the lack of shooting volume so far from Trevan Leonhardt - “His first instinct out there is to be a playmaker and facilitator.” “He’ll knock down shots. Even though he didn’t score it the other night, I thought he still had a big impact.”

In his media session, Fred Hoiberg shared an update on #Nebrasketball’s Sam Orme. “He’s been full speed, non-contact the last two days. We’re taking a very cautious approach.” “If he’s ready to go on Monday, we’ll throw him out there.”
