News @AberdeenCC ending all funding for arts & culture in city. Devastating to prospects, livelihoods, & quality of life for all. Personally, can vouch for the huge detriment this would cause by ending funding for @sistemascotland & Big Noise Torry. Sign chng.it/2sFmNP2P

Not heard full prog, but clips I worked with were deeply affecting. Privilege to soundtrack inquiry/testimony arising from topic. Don't walk by unhoused without at least saying hello. It's not beneath you. Closer than you think. Tonight 20:30 bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001g3b…

Another day, another act of cultural vandalism aimed at the non-corporate arts sector. Please sign the petition to save the national concert hall of Wales. A nation without a concert hall is hardly a nation. change.org/p/save-the-nation…

Wholeheartedly admire, respect and support the NHS, including any staff who choose (not really a choice at this point) to strike. If you vote Tory or say the strike is ‘wrong’, you’re hypocritical at best if you then say you still value the NHS.
Feel like, if there’s ever another GE, that this time there’ll just be a big, armoured, union jack bus with the slogan “WE DON’T CARE” emblazoned on it, and lemmings and toffs will just sate themselves by ‘pwning snowflakes’ or some such nonsense while roads melt and folk starve.

Sorry. I’m just a bit weary… Right back to it!
In the midst of trying to recover mentally and physically from a pandemic (COVIDx3🙋‍♂️), whilst trying to formulate and conduct research for PhD, worrying about economic precarity of our family is wrecking my head no end. That said, we’re one of the lucky ones…

Investigating rail prices for return to north of England for conference and cheapest with student railcard is £182. So, that’s that then…
Right. Heading to a cave to record. Wish me luck.
