🚨 1 can of Spam for $120.
Food stamps have become the new ATM for fraudsters as they partner with local businesses to commit the fraud as they trade SNAP cards like Pokémon cards on the streets.
Across America food stamp fraud is happening everywhere. It has become a billion dollar fraudulent industry as taxpayers fund the $100 billion program.
We caught a fraudster on the streets of Seattle as she attempted to buy a can of spam and sushi for $120 in a food stamp for cash exchange, it’s a billion dollar fraudulent scheme stealing from the poor and hungry. This is a must watch and is happening everywhere.
EXPOSE AND SHUT IT ALL DOWN.
The country (or any other country/China) could have made up the funding.

Vancouver, Canada's biggest container port, ranks 375th out of 400 ports worldwide.
That's not a typo.
Ottawa wants to double non-U.S. exports by 2035 but most of our container ports are among the worst performing on earth.
Vancouver: 375th
Montreal: 338th
Prince Rupert: 322nd
Saint John: 268th
Halifax (our star): 29th
Even federal Transport Minister @stevenmackinnon isn't spinning this. He says our port performance needs to be world-class but right now, it isn't.
Good to see Vancouver's Roberts Bank expansion potentially fast-tracked but there's MUCH more work to be done.
Bottom line: that 2035 target stays out of reach without a clear-eyed look at where Canada's ports actually stand.

Very interesting article.
New piece at the Globe. We look at who is moving out of the City of Toronto (along with Vancouver, Montreal, and Peel Region), and how it is negatively impacting our economy and productivity, and increasing political polarization:

⚡️For the first time in nearly three years, the initiative in the war appears to be shifting toward Ukraine, — The Economist
The magazine writes that Ukraine is gradually changing the course of the war and inflicting increasingly serious damage on Russia.
Key points:
1⃣Russia’s spring offensive has effectively failed;
2⃣in April, Russian forces suffered net territorial losses for the first time since August 2024;
3⃣over the past 30 days, Russia lost control of 113 square kilometers;
4⃣Ukrainian drones are striking deeper and deeper into Russia’s rear areas;
5⃣military and economic targets are being hit nearly 2,000 km from the border.
The Economist describes the situation as a potential turning point in the war.
💬 “If you had to brief Putin, the picture would look pretty grim.”
