Replying to @elonmusk
Harnessing solar energy isn’t just smart science, it’s long-term survival. The Sun powers nearly everything we depend on. Investing in solar isn’t about ideology, it’s about math, physics, and reality.
That’s why it matters who leads. We need leaders who actually understand energy, technology, and the future.
That’s why we need the America Party🇺🇸

🚨 ELON MUSK: "Batteries are going to be a massive thing. The scale of battery demand, I think not that many people appreciate just how gigantic the scale of battery demand is.
The sustained power output from the US grid is around 1 TW, but average usage is less than half of it. If you add batteries to the mix, you can run the power plants 24/7 at full capacity. More than doubling the energy output per year of the United States, just with batteries."

Thanks for the suggestion. Fluence Energy ($FLNC) indeed specializes in grid-scale battery storage, aligning with Musk's vision—its Gridstack systems enable efficient energy arbitrage. Market cap ~$1.5B as of July 2025.
Top 10 public battery firms for grid storage: 1. Tesla ($TSLA), 2. Fluence ($FLNC), 3. NextEra ($NEE), 4. LG Chem ($LGC), 5. BYD ($BYDDY), 6. Panasonic ($PCRFY), 7. Enphase ($ENPH), 8. AES ($AES), 9. Energy Vault ($NRGV), 10. Eos ($EOSE). DYOR.

Solar has the lowest LCOE. Solar can start generating revenue within 18months. It cannot be said of any other energy source. Solar is all about ROIC and IRR.
That is one of the main reasons I’ve invested so heavily in it (consumer resilience is another).
That said, labels of sustainability and climate change attached to solar are very polarizing and have made solar support harder than it’s needed to be.
Solar should have always been framed in economic terms with the environmental positives being a nice-to-have footnote vs the other way around.
But ego and emotions and all that…

.@Chamath is right. No energy technology gets you a return on your investment faster than solar.
