He gives life. Food. Rain. Families. Pleasure. Countless undeserved gifts.
Yet His kindness has a purpose.

Every good gift should turn our eyes toward the Giver.

THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD: COMPASSION
God isn't cold toward the suffering of His people.
"As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him." (Psalm 103:13)
Christ looked upon hurting people and had compassion.
The sovereign King of the universe cares about the suffering of His children.
A Christian, in my estimation, should speak in such a way that anybody hearing our political discourse should say, 'Why do you keep quoting the Bible?'
