How did this corn get so dry? Last 30 days has seen a mean temp diff of 0-2C. Assume 2C warmer, that's about 62 additional GDU's. That translates to roughly 4-4.5% additional field moisture loss above normal. An incredible gift from Mother Nature!!!

Premier Doug Ford presented Jeff Harrison, Chair of Grain Farmers of Ontario, with a commemorative scroll recognizing his years of service to Ontario’s grain farmers.
A well-deserved recognition of the dedication, leadership, and commitment Jeff has given to the agriculture sector.

We're back looking at a field that was sprayed with Enlist 1 herbicide last year on June 18th. This fields now in corn and has received an early post app of glyphosate + Crimson + Acuron application. VERY noticeable difference in horsetail pressure! @PioneerSeedsCA
Some pretty wicked awesome control of horsetail with Enlist 1 herbicide in this field of Z series soybeans. @PioneerSeedsCA

Investing in Port Infrastructure = A Stronger Future for Farmers and Canada 🚢🌾
Strong, modern port infrastructure is vital to the success of Canada’s agriculture. When our ports grow, Ontario grain farmers and Canadian farms grow too—and when we grow, Canada grows. #OntAg

Doing a little trial simulating tar spot at our research plot, defoliated leaves above and below the ear, and just the ear leaf. Will repeat in a few weeks to see how timing affects the final result.
