I make YouTube videos and somehow have 20K subs. You met me at a very Arc 7 time in my life.

The premise of “guy from earth has to escape a deathloop in a fantasy world” is awesome. That is extremely accessible to audiences. It hooked someone like me, who has no interest in the isekai genre otherwise. Problem is that there isn’t really an ideal arc to adapt to film
Re Zero is not cool like Chainsaw Man so a movie of it will not do business like Reze arc movie.

Vol 31 is the best, but is at an awkward place in Arc 7. IF stories are not good representations of what Re:Zero is at all. What would they even do, a non canon original story created specifically for film? That would be far less exciting

Anyone who tells you they should adapt the EX novels, which don’t feature the MAIN selling point of the actual story or the MAIN character, is out of their mind. Nobody is going to the theater to see the origin story of why Ferris crossdresses

Please, DO NOT read side stories before starting Arc 7. I don’t care what anyone says. Go in blind. Experience the magic of early Re:Zero again where you and Subaru know nothing about the world and the characters’ intentions, uncovering the truth over time. That’s the fun!
Why is everyone gaslighting the new readers into believing Re Zero EX 4 and 5 are required reading for Arc 7 and 8. Sure its good to read for some context, but in no way is it absolutely required reading lmao

Replying to @Everlaft
We need more *real* anime-only content creators, not this "here's all of the cut content and the actual story of the series, and not this watered-down anime version you like!" shit we have now Give me creators willing to treat the anime as its own separate piece of art

Long shot but maybe someone here can help me. There was a Breaking Bad parody in Lost in Memories where Otto and Subaru make mayo. I watched a translated version of it on YouTube and I can’t find it again. Does anyone know where it is?! I was hoping to use it in a video

They have to secretly cook it in Otto’s carriage and they end up getting caught up with criminals in the slums because Subaru’s recipe is so good. They eventually have to sell the formula to Anastasia. I bring up BB in my Arc 7 video and really wanted to show a clip of this

Do you think this sloth guy appreciated the irony of getting killed by Sloth?

Do you think the tracksuit Subaru wears in Arc 1 could be the same as the one he wears in Arc 5? I noticed some startling similarities. They’re nearly identical, with the same color scheme, same seam patterns, and both have the same N logo printed on. Anyone else notice this?

My first attempts at writing something about Arc 7 were back in 2023. A few parts in the new script were taken straight from this document. It's not an exaggeration to say I've been trying to express my thoughts about Arc 7 for over 3 years now!

Now starting: Chainsaw Man Part 2. My YouTube comments have told me it's a "major flop," there's "no real point in reading" it, and they "feel bad for me." I'm excited!

The type of thing Subaru is up to in Arc 2 while Rem is plotting to murder him

I feel like I've talked exhaustively about the writing and directing of Arc 2 at this point, but there's also just a certain feeling. Arc 2 is quaint. There's a focus on Subaru being an out of place goofball doing small scale work. He almost feels like Fry from early Futurama
watching arc 2 in the anime for the retrospective and man. i cannot put my finger on why everything feels so fundamentally different compared to the modern rezero anime. im not calling either inherently better or worse, just different. interesting to think about

If anyone wants to learn some screenwriting techniques from studying anime, do I know a good series of videos for you!
Inde Navarette says she studied anime — including ‘Jujutsu Kaiden’ and ‘Demon Slayer’ — to learn more about screenwriting & storytelling. “I learned about timeline and about storytelling—how a person can have a monologue at the beginning of the episode that matters two episodes later or even at the end, and that person's dead and you don't learn it until then—and then attaching that to my screenwriting and trying to learn that way.” (Source: hollywoodreporter.com/movies…)

My Arc 7 video is the happiest I’ve ever been writing a script. I seriously can’t stop smiling. I can’t wait to share what Arc 7 means to me

When shit gets serious in the Re:Zero novels and he starts spiraling out, the narration always gives you a sentence like “Natsuki Subaru was like a plastic bag, drifting through the wind, wanting to start again——" and you start sobbing every time. He really is like that

It's hilarious that the YouTubers with the three biggest Aldebaran character analysis videos all have completely different takes on who he is lol. If you aren't a reader, your larp will be determined solely on whether you watched Jakez, Asa, or me
